Antique Silver Crumb Brush & Tray/Dustpan; Etched Ornate Victorian Design

Description

This beautiful silent butler set includes a silver plated crumb brush and tray/dustpan.
The silver crumb brush is long and curved with it’s cream colored bristles set firmly in a wood base.
It has an ornate Victorian floral and scroll design on the back and on the long curved handle.
The tray and dustpan has an intricate etched Victorian design on both the base and on it’s curved handle area.
The back of the tray/dustpan is plain silver.
The dimensions of the crumb brush are 7 3/4” long, 1” wide, and 1 1/2” high.
The dimensions of the tray are 5 3/4” long, and 5” high.
Neither of the pieces are signed and the exact age of the set is not known but these particular type sets were first made in the 1850’s.
Most of these sets were made in the late 19th century and were out of fashion after the First World War.
The set is in wonderful antique vintage condition with some expected tarnishing and light scratches from age primarily on the front and back of the tray/dustpan.
There are no chips, cracks or deep scratches on either piece. Please see all photos.
